Friday Lunchtime Webinars

Throughout the 2022-23 program year, the Professional Development System will offer lunchtime webinars for agencies’ PDE-funded staff. While topics are targeted to specific program roles, all PDE-funded staff are welcome to attend. The webinars will begin Friday, September 2, 2022, and run through May 26, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, except holidays.

Volunteer Tutor and Classroom Aide Webinar Series

This series of live webinars gives tutors and classroom aides access to experts from across the state, including teachers, program staff, and other volunteers. Topics relate to student goals, academic subjects, technology, and general teaching skills. While the series is designed with volunteer tutors and classroom aides in mind, agency staff are welcome to attend.

Digital Literacy Specialist Webinar Series

The Digital Literacy Specialist meetings are an opportunity to gather resources for supporting staff and students in building their digital literacy skills. During these meetings, the digital literacy specialists across the state share successes, challenges, and best practices for ensuring that students receive the technology instruction and support needed to participate successfully in distance learning and to find or maintain employment, and that staff can support distance learning, teach remotely as needed, and use technology to enhance instruction and promote digital literacy in students.
